Basketball Game Preview: Redmond Panthers vs. Ridgeview Ravens

The Redmond Panthers will face off against the Ridgeview Ravens at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Redmond has 18 straight victories, Ridgeview has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Redmond strolled past Summit with points to spare, taking the game 66-49. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Storm are ranked 42nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Ridgeview came up short against Mountain View on Tuesday and fell 50-43.

Ridgeview's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Redmond, their win bumped their record up to 18-1.

Everything came up roses for Redmond against Ridgeview in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 68-23 victory. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ravens turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
