Volleyball Recap: Bishop Montgomery Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bishop Amat last Thursday, Bishop Montgomery came back down to earth. Bishop Montgomery came up short against the La Salle Lancers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

While Bishop Montgomery was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-23, 27-25.

Bishop Montgomery now has a losing record of 8-9. As for La Salle, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

Coming up, Bishop Montgomery will face off against Paraclete at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for La Salle, they will take on Bishop Amat at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. La Salle is facing Bishop Amat at the right time seeing as Bishop Amat is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
