Football Recap: Jenkintown Drakes vs. Pequea Valley Braves
Friday just wasn't the day for Jenkintown's offense. They were beaten by the Pequea Valley Braves 35-0 on Friday. The Drakes lost against the Braves in their previous head to head back in September of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 17-14 score last time.
Jenkintown wouldn't let Pequea Valley keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Jenkintown can thank Matt Ecker and Seth Porter for forcing both of them.
Jenkintown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pequea Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jenkintown will face off against Lower Moreland at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pequea Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Morrisville at 7:00 p.m.
