Jay's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 20-18 win over the Vinita Hornets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted against the Hornets since September 2, 2016.

Among those leading the charge was Michael Rogers, who rushed for 74 yards and one TD. Gabe Shrum was in the mix as well, providing Jay with one touchdown.

With the win, Jay broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7. As for Vinita, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

As of now, neither Jay nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
