Brayden Thornhill put up the most runs he's had since back in March on Friday. He got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and three runs. Columbia is undefeated when Thornhill posts two or more runs, but 9-10 otherwise.

Thornhill's strong effort led Columbia over Lawrence County and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats are a perfect 9-0 against the Cougars going back to March of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
