Volleyball Recap: Hughes Springs Comes Up Short

Hughes Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Paris Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Hughes Springs may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 16 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16.

Hughes Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Paris, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.
