Basketball Recap: Americas Trail Blazers vs. Permian Panthers
Americas had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 70-43 defeat at the hands of the Permian Panthers on Friday. The Trail Blazers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Americas' loss came despite strong showings from JOSH PICHARDO and ETHAN SALINAS. PICHARDO posted 12 points along with two steals, while SALINAS went 5 for 10 en route to 11 points plus seven rebounds.
Americas has already played their next matchup, a 59-50 win against Burges on the 11th. As for Permian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 49-45 defeat against Chisholm Trail on the 9th.
