Leipsic never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the Pandora-Gilboa Rockets 12-0. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now won eight in a row.

John Dewar was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Tommy Offenbacher was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Tyler Lammers was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Leipsic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pandora-Gilboa only posted a batting average of .062.

Leipsic's record is now 6-3. As for Pandora-Gilboa, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leipsic will square off against Miller City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pandora-Gilboa, they will face off against Ottoville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
