It was a good run, but Scotia-Glenville unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Glens Falls Black Bears by a score of 3-2. The Tartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Black Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Scotia-Glenville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Switts, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Scotia-Glenville's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Glens Falls, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Scotia-Glenville beat Glens Falls by a score of 11-2 on Monday.
