Football Game Preview: Norfolk Christian Ambassadors vs. Central Virginia Disciples

The Norfolk Christian Ambassadors will take on Central Virginia Disciples at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Norfolk Christian's defense has only allowed 11 points per game this season, so Central Virginia Disciples' offense will have their work cut out for them.

Norfolk Christian is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 36 points back in September, they were much more limited against First Flight back in September. The game between the Ambassadors and the Nighthawks didn't end well, with the Ambassadors falling 30-12. The loss was the Ambassadors' first of the season.

Despite the loss, Norfolk Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Evan Field rushed for 116 yards and one score. Isiah Banks made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Virginia Disciples). They breezed past North Wake S to the tune of 51-6 on Saturday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Central Virginia Disciples with their most commanding win of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Norfolk Christian fell to 3-1. As for Central Virginia Disciples, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
