Lakes' loss came despite strong showings from Kaylee Anderson and Jessica Ross. Anderson scored 5 points along with 5 rebounds, while Ross scored 13 points.
Maine East found their leader in underclassman Arabella Silva, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was Silva's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Mariah Scott was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 4 steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Lakes and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Maine East, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Lakes will be staying on the road on November 29th to face off against Woodstock at 7:00 p.m. on November 29th. As for Maine East, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Niles North at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Niles North is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
