Soccer Recap: Mastery Has No Trouble Against International Christian

Mastery was not the first on the board on Wednesday, but they got there more often. Everything went their way against the International Christian Titans as they made off with a 6-2 win. The score was close at halftime, but Mastery pulled away in the second half with six goals.

They hit International Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mailloby Orthela (3), Emerson Lopez (2), and Alexis Alfaro.

Mastery's victory bumped their record up to 3-4-1. As for International Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Mastery will welcome KIPP Cooper Norcross at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for International Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Girard College at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
