The Leonard Lancers will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Lake Worth Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Lake Worth took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Leonard, who comes in off a win.

Leonard is headed out to face Lake Worth after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Leonard came out on top in a nail-biter against Westwood on Monday, sneaking past 9-8.

Guillermo Vazquez was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Bryan Quiroz-Rivera, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Lake Worth scored first but ultimately less than Jupiter Christian in their game on Wednesday. They lost 20-2 to the Eagles.

Leonard took their victory against Lake Worth in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Leonard since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
