While River Valley might've come up empty on Friday, Landon Burns wasn't going down without a fight. Burns went 7 for 10 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. The effort also marked the highest shooting accuracy (70%) he has had since back in December of 2023.

Burns and River Valley will venture away from home to square off against Alexander at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders had to take a loss when they last met the Spartans, but Burns had little to do with the loss: he went 7 of 13 en route to 16 points and seven boards.
