Softball Recap: Oakland Catholic Takes a Loss

Oakland Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Uniontown Red Raiders, falling 16-4.

Madison Pullen was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nina Hillard, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.

Oakland Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Uniontown, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Oakland Catholic will challenge Ringgold at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Oakland Catholic are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Uniontown, they will take on Laurel Highlands at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
