Basketball Recap: Paradise Takes a Loss

Paradise was the 45-44 winner over Anderson when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Paradise Bobcats were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 47-46 to the Anderson Cubs. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anderson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elias Whitehead led the charge by putting up ten points and seven boards. Bear Wilson was another key player, posting nine points and five rebounds.

Paradise now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Anderson, their record is now 2-5.

Paradise will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against CORE Butte at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paradise is facing CORE Butte at the right time seeing as CORE Butte is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Anderson, they will welcome Corning at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Anderson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50 points per game this season.
