Basketball Recap: Quantico Takes a Loss

Quantico came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 46-26 to Foxcroft. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Foxcroft this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 35-19 back in December of 2025.

Despite the loss, Quantico saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ra'Mya Antenor posted 12 points. That was a full 46.2% of the Warriors' points, marking the third time in a row Antenor has put up more than a third of the team's points.

Quantico's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Foxcroft, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Quantico is taking a road trip to square off against Highland at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Foxcroft, they will head out to take on Randolph-Macon Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
