After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Corsicana, Ennis was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Kaufman. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-0 back in January.

Ennis hit Kaufman with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Miguel Yanez, Sebastian Hernandez, and Salvador Espino.

Ennis' victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Kaufman, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ennis will square off against Crandall at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Crandall will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Ennis surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kaufman, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Kaufman challenge the Midlothian Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Midlothian Heritage's last six contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
