Volleyball Game Preview: Pinecrest Prep Crocs' vs. Pinecrest Glades Academy Dragons

The Pinecrest Prep Crocs will square off against the Pinecrest Glades Academy Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Pinecrest Prep took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Westwood Christian. The Crocs' haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Pinecrest Prep walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-22, 26-24, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Pinecrest Glades Academy posted their closest victory since March 18, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Keys Gate 3-2.

Pinecrest Glades Academy was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-16, 20-25, 25-16, 15-12.

Pinecrest Glades Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Pinecrest Prep, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Everything went Pinecrest Prep's way against Pinecrest Glades Academy in their previous meeting back in March, as Pinecrest Prep made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Crocs' have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dragons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
