Volleyball Recap: Julia West and Emily Mader Secure Win for Acadiana Home School Athletics

Acadiana Home School Athletics not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 24, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Open Door Christian Academy Conquerors 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Commandos.

While Acadiana Home School Athletics won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 27-25, 25-16.

Leading Acadiana Home School Athletics to victory were Emily Mader and Julia West. Mader had 11 aces and seven digs, while West had nine kills, nine aces, and three digs. Mader has been hot for a while, having posted two or more aces the last 16 times she's played. Sophia Medina was another key player, getting eight aces.
