Sultan proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 26) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Steilacoom Sentinels, sneaking past 37-34. The victory was nothing new for the Turks as they're now sitting on three straight.

Sultan's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Steilacoom, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Sultan will head out on the road to take on Cedarcrest at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. As for Steilacoom, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Fife at 7:00 p.m.
