Soccer Game Preview: Summit vs. Glenwood Springs

Summit is 2-8 against Glenwood Springs since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Tigers will challenge the Demons at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Summit managed to slip by Eagle Valley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Devils two weeks ago, falling 4-0. Summit's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Glenwood Springs' offense. They lost 6-0 to Grand Junction on Tuesday. Glenwood Springs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Summit now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Glenwood Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Summit came out on top in a nail-biter against Glenwood Springs in their previous meeting on April 10th, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
