Recap: Jefferson Panthers vs. Manhattan Tigers

The Jefferson Panthers lost against the Manhattan Tigers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Jefferson took a hard 64-48 fall against Manhattan. Jefferson has not had much luck with Manhattan recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Loss or not, Jefferson got some senior leadership from Colt Tietje who scored 19 points and Dalton Noble who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was Tietje's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Hunter Stevens, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Manhattan, they pushed their record up to 1-0 with that win, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson and Lone Peak will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Lone Peak's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests. As for Manhattan, they will head out on the road to face off against Sweet Grass County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
