Basketball Recap: West Melbourne Christian Academy Victorious

West Melbourne Christian Academy won the last time they faced Heritage Prep and things went their way on Thursday too. West Melbourne Christian Academy came out on top against the Heritage Prep Praetorians by a score of 45-32.

Despite the loss, Heritage Prep still got an impressive performance from Grace Isnord, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Isnord a new career-high in blocks (three). Another player making a difference was Nikiya Ducasse-Gross, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards.

West Melbourne Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Heritage Prep, they moved to 8-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

West Melbourne Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heritage Prep, they will look to defend their home court on January 23rd against Christian Learning Academy at 6:00 p.m. Heritage Prep's defense has only allowed 27.5 points per game this season, so Christian Learning Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
