Baseball Recap: Mountain Pointe Takes a Loss

Mountain Pointe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 11-2 to the Westview Wolverines.

Mountain Pointe saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carlos Mungaray, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Another was Jaxson Adamson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Mountain Pointe's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Westview, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Mountain Pointe wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-2 win against La Grande on the 25th. As for Westview, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Sherwood on the 26th.
