Cannon Falls won the last time they faced Lourdes and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bombers skirted past the Eagles 4-2. The win was familiar territory for the Bombers, who have now won six contests in a row.

Cannon Falls pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Lourdes, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cannon Falls will challenge Zumbrota-Mazeppa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lourdes, they will take on Pine Island at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
