Baseball Game Preview: Kennedy Cougars vs. Natomas Nighthawks

The Kennedy Cougars will head out to take on the Natomas Nighthawks at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Kennedy and 14 for Natomas dating back to last season.

Kennedy lost 11-4 to Mesa Verde on Monday.

Kennedy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Namikawa, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave Namikawa a new career-high. Another was Jackson Brooks, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Natomas didn't have quite enough to beat West Campus on Wednesday and fell 10-8.

Natomas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
