Softball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-5 to the Carl Hayden Community Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-4 last Tuesday.

Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristan Aguino, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Carl Hayden Community, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 22-2 loss against McClintock on the 7th. As for Carl Hayden Community, they have also already played their next matchup, a 15-5 defeat against Alhambra on the 7th.
