Basketball Recap: Wilton Find Success

If Danbury wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Wilton, they should've done a better job of containing Ryan Luchetta. The Wilton Warriors were the clear victor by a 59-34 margin over the Danbury Hatters on Friday thanks in part to Luchetta, who went 10 of 19 on his way to 23 points in addition to six boards and four steals. The matchup was his 11th in a row with at least ten points.

Gavin Toohill was another key player, putting up nine points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Wilton now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Danbury, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilton has already played their next contest (against New Canaan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Danbury has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Stamford.
