Preview: West Logan Christian Academy Warriors vs. North Marion Huskies
The West Logan Christian Academy Warriors's road trip will continue as they head out to face the North Marion Huskies on December 22nd. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Saturday, West Logan Christian Academy came up short against Wyoming East and fell 53-43. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points West Logan Christian Academy has scored all season.
Despite their loss, West Logan Christian Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jacob Walls, who scored 20 points, was perhaps the best of all. Walls scored a full 46.5% of West Logan Christian Academy's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Adams, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for North Marion, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 61-47 loss to Ripley last Saturday.
West Logan Christian Academy now has a losing record at 2-3. As for North Marion, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
West Logan Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against North Marion when the teams last played back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 55-51 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Logan Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
