Nelson Island strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Akiachak Huskies. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 last Friday.

Nelson Island easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-19.

Nelson Island's win bumped their record up to 17-0. As for Akiachak, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
