Soccer Game Preview: York vs. South Pointe

The York Cougars will face off against the South Pointe Stallions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

York took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Buford, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. York came out on top in a nail-biter against Buford on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1.

Zan Walling and Jeremiah DaCosta scored both of York's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, South Pointe was not the first on the board last Tuesday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over Camden. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Stallions considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

York now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for South Pointe, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
