Volleyball Recap: Stagg Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Stagg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Franklin Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 3rd.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 20-25, 25-14.

Daniela Vargas paced Stagg's offense, picking up nine kills. Vargas got some help from Alleyson Chan and her four assists. Vargas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Stagg's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-12 record this season.

Stagg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Weston Ranch on the 1st. As for Franklin, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against McNair on the 1st.
