West has won five straight games at home, while Powell has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Rebels will welcome the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
On Monday, West made easy work of Campbell County and carried off an 8-2 victory.
Brooke Weaver made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Weaver was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Claire Davenport was incredible, firing off three triples and three runs while going 3-for-4. Those three triples gave her a new career-high. Joli Bush was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Powell never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Karns on Monday. They put the hurt on the Beavers with a sharp 11-4 win. Considering the Panthers have won ten contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Like West, Powell also got a great game from a two-way player: Langston Coggins. She pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off 11 hits. Coggins has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Madison Crawley was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Jaylan Heatherly, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
West's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Powell, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. West hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .341. However, it's not like Powell struggles in that department as they've averaged .369. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
