North Montgomery put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Covington Trojans get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Chargin' Chargers, who have now won three games by six runs or more so far this season.

Jack Warren made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Warren was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tucker Hinds, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI. Lincoln Heide also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

North Montgomery's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Covington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Coming up, North Montgomery will square off against Danville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargin' Chargers are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Covington, they will take on Milford at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
