Volleyball Recap: LaVergne Comes Up Short + How To Watch

LaVergne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Stewarts Creek Red Hawks. If the Wolverines were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Red Hawks when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While LaVergne was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Stewarts Creek's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-19.

LaVergne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Stewarts Creek, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Coming up, LaVergne will square off against Warren County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stewarts Creek, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Blackman on the 22nd.
