Football Recap: Lake Placid Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lake Placid lost against Moore Haven back in October of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dragons came up short against the Terriers, falling 28-7. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

August Stivender threw for 118 yards on eight of 18 attempts. Jarion Halliburton was his top target, picking up 52 receiving yards. On the ground, Darrius Jones rushed for 66 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Moore Haven can attribute much of their success to Tykeem Paseler, who threw for 133 yards and two TDs. Paseler's passing game has become a key predictor of the Terriers' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-5 otherwise.

Lake Placid's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Moore Haven, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Lake Placid nor Moore Haven have any future games scheduled.
