Bandys is 8-0-2 against Maiden since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Trojans will look to defend their home pitch against the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. Bandys will be strutting in after a victory while Maiden will be coming in after a loss.

Bandys will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating North Lincoln, who they had gone 0-8-1 against in their nine prior meetings. The Trojans' defense stepped up to hand the Knights a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. Bandys might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Maiden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Hickory, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Maiden can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 456th, while Hickory are ranked 27th).

Bandys' win bumped their record up to 10-4-1. As for Maiden, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Everything went Bandys' way against Maiden in their previous meeting back in March, as Bandys made off with a 9-0 victory. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
