Basketball Recap: South Eugene Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

South Eugene won against Beaverton on Friday with 73 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The South Eugene Axe walked away with a 73-62 victory over the Century Jaguars. That's more bragging rights for the Axe, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

South Eugene has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Century, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

South Eugene and Mountain View will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Century, they will face off against Ida B. Wells at 7:15 p.m. on December 30th.
