Softball Recap: Frisco Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Frisco can now relate to. They came up short against the Reedy Lions on Friday, falling 17-2. The Raccoons' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Frisco saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailee Hodnett, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Frisco's loss dropped their record down to 12-14-1. As for Reedy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

While Frisco had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
