Volleyball Recap: Winfield Takes a Loss

Winfield lost against Fayette County on September 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pirates fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1.

Winfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Fayette County, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

Coming up, Winfield will face off against Oakman at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fayette County, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Sulligent on the 20th.
