Softball Recap: Johnson Bayou Takes a Loss

Johnson Bayou was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the South Cameron Tarpons, falling 19-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tarpons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-0 back in March.

Johnson Bayou's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for South Cameron, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnson Bayou will challenge Hackberry at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rebels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 10.4 runs per game this season. As for South Cameron, they will take on Elton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
