Soccer Recap: Nazareth Academy Takes a Loss

Nazareth Academy and Springfield squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Nazareth Academy had to settle for second. They lost 4-0 to the Senators. While losing is never fun, Nazareth Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while Springfield are ranked sixth).

This is the second loss in a row for Nazareth Academy and nudges their season record down to 16-12-1. As for Springfield, their win bumped their record up to 26-2-1.

As of now, neither Nazareth Academy nor the Senators have any future games scheduled.
