Baseball Recap: Red Hill Starts off Right with Win over Norris City-Omaha-Enfield

Red Hill gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They put the hurt on the Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Fighting Cardinals with a sharp 9-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Salukis in their matchups with the Fighting Cardinals: they've now won three in a row.

Red Hill got a big performance out of Brody Wattles, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Kiser, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Hill will take on Lawrenceville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norris City-Omaha-Enfield, they will head out to face off against Waltonville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
