Football Recap: Davin Lemire Key Part of Team Effort in Spartans Win + How To Watch

Campbell hadn't done well against Pebblebrook recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Spartans enjoyed a cozy 21-7 victory over the Falcons. This was payback for the Spartans, who suffered a 14-13 loss the last time these two teams met.

Campbell got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Davin Lemire out in front who rushed for 61 yards and one TD on only eight carries, and also threw for 149 yards and one touchdown on only 14 passes. 109 of Lemire's passing yards were hauled in by Nick Buggs, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Campbell didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of T.O'Thaniel Williams Iv and Maddox West. Williams Iv is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last six games he's played. West got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory made it two in a row for Campbell and bumps their season record up to 6-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.5 points over those games. As for Pebblebrook, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
