Football Preview: Sanger Apaches vs. Lemoore Tigers
Sanger and Lemoore are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2014, but not for long. The Sanger Apaches have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome the Lemoore Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Sanger is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 34 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Clovis East on Friday. They had to suffer through a 56-3 loss at the hands of the Timberwolves. The Apaches haven't had much luck with the Timberwolves recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Lemoore put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to El Diamante for the full four quarters, racking up a 38-6 victory at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-0.
Lemoore had a senior duo take command as Aiden McDaniel threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns and Joshua Hernandez rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.

Sanger now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lemoore, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Friday's game might be decided in the trenches. Sanger has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 190 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Lemoore struggles in that department as they've been averaging 150. It's looking like Friday's matchup might have some serious battles in the trenches.
