NFL Yet Academy's Armando Ruiz Jr. and Guy Brown have formed a dream team this season, leading Charter 3A (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Ruiz Jr. has thrown for 1,500 yards this season, while Brown has 29 catches for 836 yards. Joey Riordan from Mohave Accelerated leads the league in rushing with 592 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Patriots and Marcel Lopez's team. Mohave Accelerated enters the contest ranked 18th in the state, while NFL Yet Academy ranks 12th.
The league will see a high scoring game when Frank Sagasta's team and NFL Yet Academy face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Patriots comes in having scored 153 this season, while NFL Yet Academy has scored 319. Mohave Accelerated scored 18 points last week as it lost to Apache Trail.
NFL Yet Academy led the league in scoring this week by notching 45 points on the Sidewinders.
