Basketball Recap: Twin Cedars Takes a Loss

Twin Cedars was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 77-52 to Collins-Maxwell. While losing is never fun, the Sabers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 341st, while Collins-Maxwell are ranked 141st).

Twin Cedars' defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Collins-Maxwell, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-4.

Twin Cedars does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Collins-Maxwell, they will welcome Lynnville-Sully on Thursday. One thing working in Lynnville-Sully's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 games.
