Softball Recap: Marshall County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Marshall County challenged Tullahoma on Thursday. The Marshall County Tigers took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tullahoma Wildcats. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Marshall County got a big performance out of Eryn Ketchum, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was Ketchum's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kinley Wiser, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Marshall County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Tullahoma, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Marshall County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Giles County at 5:30 p.m. on March 31st. As for Tullahoma, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Huntland at 5:30 p.m.
