Recap: Northern Valley Huskies vs. Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks

With a playoff game on the line, the Northern Valley Huskies rose to the challenge on Saturday. They managed a 54-50 victory over the Thunderhawks. The win was familiar territory for Northern Valley who now have five in a row.

Despite the loss, Wheatland-Grinnell still got an impressive performance from Karoline Schroeder, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds. Schroeder has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Aliviah Ball was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Northern Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
